Article 1: Purpose of the Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy outlines the procedures for canceling lessons and applies to both users and tutors.
Article 2: Refund of Points for Tutor's Lesson Cancellation or Absence
If a tutor cancels or is absent for a lesson, the user will be refunded the corresponding points.
Article 3: Special Cancellation Policy
- If a user cancels a lesson less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, it is considered a "special cancellation."
- In the case of a special cancellation, points will not be refunded to the user.
- If a lesson is delayed due to the user's circumstances, the lesson will conclude as scheduled, and no points will be refunded.
- For details such as lesson availability, duration, and tuition, please refer to the Nekotalk website. If you anticipate being unable to attend a lesson, please make every effort to cancel the lesson in advance.
Article 4: Emergency Cancellation
- If a user misses a lesson without performing a regular cancellation as described in the previous article, it is considered an "emergency cancellation."
- In the case of an emergency cancellation, points will not be refunded to the user. The teacher, however, retains the right to receive payment for the lesson as if it were conducted.
Article 5: Refund of Points to Users in Case of Cancellation by the Company
If a lesson is canceled due to circumstances on the part of the company, points will be refunded to the user.
Article 6: In Cases Requiring Points Refund Under Article 2 or Article 5
Even if there is a need to refund points based on Article 2 or Article 5, if it is discovered that the user has violated the Common Terms or User Terms regarding the lesson contract for which the points were used, the points will not be refunded.
Article 7: Request for Information in Certain Cases
In cases falling under any of the following items, the Company may request users and instructors to provide information deemed necessary by the Company, and users and instructors must promptly comply with such requests:
- If the user or instructor cancels the contract after its establishment.
- If the Company determines that the user has violated the Nekotalk Online Terms of Use or User Terms, or there is a possibility of such violation.
- If the Company determines that the instructor has violated the Nekotalk Online Terms of Use or Instructor Terms, or there is a possibility of such violation.
- In other cases where the Company deems it necessary.
Article 8: Determination of Point Refund Eligibility
Whether a situation qualifies for a point refund or not will be determined by the Company after a thorough and sincere investigation. Users and instructors shall abide by the Company's final judgment on the matter.
